Dermatofitozy są chorobami skóry wywołanymi przez grzyby. Najistotniejszymi dermatofitami występującymi u towarzyszących zwierząt są grzyby z rodzaju Microsporum i Trichophyton. Choroba ta jest zoonozą, a zatem cechuje ją znaczna zakaźność. W niniejszym artykule opisujemy aktualne informacje dotyczące objawów klinicznych i postaci klinicznych choroby, jak również metody rozpoznawania grzybic powierzchownych oraz leczenia choroby.

Abstract
Dermatophytosis
is a superficial fungal skin disease affecting many animals. The most
common dermatophytes isolated from small animals belong to the genera
Microsporum and Trichophyton. The disease is serious because of its
contagious, infectious and zoonotic aspects. The paper describes the
most important findings on the clinical symptoms and forms of
dermatophytosis. Diagnosis and treatment methods are discussed here as
well.
