Streszczenie
Anaplazmoza trombocytarna (TA) jest chorobą wektorową. Jej czynnikiem etiologicznym jest Anaplasma platys, a wektorem bakterii są kleszcze Riphicephalus spp., Dermacentor spp. i Ixodes spp. Anaplasma namnaża się w trombocytach zakażonego osobnika, a sama choroba może mieć przebieg bezobjawowy (o zakażeniu świadczy jedynie serokonwersja) do ciężkiego. W niniejszym artykule przedstawiono objawy kliniczne choroby oraz zasady jej rozpoznawania i leczenia.

Abstract
Thrombocytotropic anaplasmosis (TA) is a tick-borne disease, caused by an obligate intracellular pathogen Anaplasma platys. Ticks Riphicephalus spp, Dermacentor spp., and Ixodes spp. are vectors of the parasite. Anaplasma platys invades only platelets of the infected host. Clinical symptoms range from an asymptomatic seroconversion to a severe disease. The paper presents clinical symptoms, diagnosis, and treatment of TA.
