Streszczenie
Atopowe zapalenie skóry jest częstą, nawrotową i przewlekłą, świądową chorobą skóry u psów wymagającą różnorodnych metod leczenia w różnym czasie trwania choroby. Czynniki pokarmowe, środowiskowe, nadwrażliwość na alergen pchli, zakażenia bakteryjne i grzybicze (Malassezia spp.) mogą nasilać objawy i powinny być eliminowane u psów atopowych. Obecnie najskuteczniejszymi lekami używanymi w leczeniu są miejscowe i doustne glikokortykosteroidy, cyklosporyna, oklacitinib i lokiwetmab.

Abstract
Atopic dermatitis (AD) is a common chronic relapsing pruritic skin disease in dogs which requires variable treatment methods at different disease stages. Recognized etiological factors, such as nutritional ingredients, fleas, environmental allergens, Staphylococcus bacteria and Malassezia yeast may exaggerate clinical symptoms and should be avoided in atopic dogs. Currently, the most effective medicines used in the treatment of AD include topical and oral glucocorticoids, ciclosporin, oclacitinib and lokivetmab.
