Gastroduodenoskopia to badanie endoskopowe żołądka i dwunastnicy. Najczęstszym wskazaniem do endoskopii żołądka i dwunastnicy u psów oraz kotów są wymioty o różnym charakterze. Kwalifikacja do tego badania obejmuje: wywiad, badanie kliniczne, badania laboratoryjne krwi oraz badanie radiologiczne i ultrasonograficzne jamy brzusznej. Gastroduodenoskopię u psów i kotów wykonuje się w znieczuleniu ogólnym przy pomocy endoskopów elastycznych.

Abstract
Gastroduodenoscopy is an endoscopic examination of the stomach and duodenum. The most common indication for gastric and duodenal endoscopy in dogs and cats is vomiting of unknown etiology. Qualification for this test includes history, clinical examination, blood laboratory tests, radiological and ultrasound examination of the abdomen. Gastroduodenoscopy in dogs and cats is performed under general anaesthesia using flexible endoscopes.
