Streszczenie
Badanie morfologiczne krwi obwodowej jest jednym z podstawowych badań w diagnostyce laboratoryjnej. Dostarcza ono informacji dotyczącej ilości poszczególnych rodzajów komórek krwi, a także pozwala na ocenę niektórych cech ich budowy. Analizatory hematologiczne w zależności od sposobu różnicowania populacji leukocytów dzielą się na trzy grupy: 3-Diff, 5-Diff i 8-Diff. Artykuł skupia się na wyjaśnieniu metody działania poszczególnych rodzajów analizatorów i możliwych implikacjach klinicznych.

Abstract
Complete blood count is one of the basic tests in medical laboratory diagnostics. It provides information on the number of different types of blood cells and evaluates some features of their structure. Depending on the method of leukocyte population differentiation, hematology analyzers are divided into three categories: 3-Diff, 5-Diff and 8-Diff. The article focuses on the testing methods used by each type of hematology analyzer and their possible clinical implications.
