Streszczenie
Powstanie zespołu endogennego Cushinga jest powodowane między innymi przez guzy nadnerczy, które prowadzą do nadmiernego wydzielania kortyzolu, a w konsekwencji do różnych chorób towarzyszących (9). Poznanie patofizjologii tych jednostek jest bardzo ważne, ponieważ będą one miały wpływ na: dobór metod znieczulenia, rodzaju anestetyków i innych zabiegów, a także leków w okresie okołooperacyjnym. Ważne jest określenie dokładnej lokalizacji guza, ponieważ leczeniem z wyboru jest resekcja chirurgiczna (1), co nieodzownie wiąże się ze znieczuleniem. Znieczulenie pacjenta z chorobą endokrynologiczną jest obarczone dużym ryzykiem anestezjologicznym.

Abstract
Cushing’s endogenous syndrome is caused mainly by adrenal gland tumors, which can lead to increased cortisol secretion and, as a consequence, to the development of accompanying diseases. A knowledge of the pathophysiology of those diseases is esssential as it will influence our choice of anesthetic methods, anesthetic drugs, as well as other procedures and medicines during the pre- and postoperative periods. It is important to precisely localize a tumor as the treatment of choice is surgical resection. Anesthetic management of a patient with the endocrine disease is more hazardous.
