Streszczenie

Zapalenie wątroby jest uważane za najczęstszą chorobę wątroby u kotów w Europie. Może ono dotyczyć miąższu narządu lub dróg żółciowych. Wśród zapaleń wątroby można wyróżnić: ostre zapalenie wątroby, neutrofilowe i limfocytarne zapalenie dróg żółciowych, mieszane zapalenie dróg żółciowych oraz zapalenie dróg żółciowych wywołane inwazją pasożytniczą. Diagnostyka chorób wątroby u kotów opiera się na interpretacji objawów klinicznych, badań biochemicznych i morfologicznych krwi, badaniu ultrasonograficznym oraz ocenie histopatologicznej bioptatów pobranych z miąższu wątroby. Leczenie farmakologiczne zależne jest od rodzaju zapalenia i obejmuje antybiotykoterapię, leczenie przeciwzapalne i leczenie hepatoprotekcyjne.

Abstract

It may affect parenchyma or bile ducts. Among the inflammation of the liver we can distinguish: acute hepatitis, neutrophilic and lymphocytic cholangitis, mixed cholangitis and cholangitis caused by parasitic invasion. Diagnosis of liver diseases in cats is based on the interpretation of clinical symptoms, biochemical and morphological tests of the blood, ultrasound examination and histopathological assessment of biopsies taken from the liver parenchyma. Pharmacological treatment depends on the type of inflammation and includes antibiotic therapy, anti-inflammatory therapy and hepatoprotective treatment.
