Streszczenie
W artykule omówiono choroby układu oddechowego psów i kotów, które wynikają z zakażeń wirusowych. Opisano zakaźną chorobę układu oddechowego psów (CIRD, kaszel kennelowy) oraz chorobę górnych dróg oddechowych kotów (URTD, koci katar). Poświęcono również miejsce zagadnieniu grypy u tych gatunków zwierząt. Wspólnie omówiono sposoby zapobiegania tym chorobom, a także diagnostykę i leczenie.

Abstract
The paper discusses canine and feline diseases of the respiratory system caused by viruses. Described are canine infectious respiratory disease (CIRD), feline upper respiratory tract disease (URTD) and influenza in those species as well as diagnostic procedures, treatment and prevention of those infections.
