Streszczenie
Dermatozy cynkozależne u psów występują w postaci dwóch zespołów: zespół I – występuje u ras malamut i husky syberyjski oraz zespół II – występujący u szybko rosnących szczeniąt i u psów dorosłych, żywionych karmami z niedoborem cynku. Innym zespołem związanym z dermatozą cynkozależną, a występującym u bulterierów, jest śmiertelna dermatoza cynkozależna (acrodermatitis lethalis), która jest spowodowana autosomalnym genem recesywnym. Leczenie zespołu I i II polega na doustnym podawaniu cynku i karm zbilansowanych. W przypadku acrodermatitis brak skutecznego leczenia.

Abstract
Two types of zinc-responsive dermatosis syndrome are recognized: the first syndrome occurs in Alaskan Malamutes and Siberian Huskies and the second syndrome develops in rapidly growing puppies, young and adult dogs that are fed zinc-deficient diets. Another syndrome related to zinc-responsive dermatosis is acrodermatitis which has been reported in Bull Terriers as an inherited autosomal recessive trait. The treatment of syndromes I and II consists in oral zinc supplementation and feeding with appropriate diet. No effective treatment is known for acrodermatitis.
