Streszczenie
Zwyrodnienie śluzowate zastawki dwudzielnej jest najczęściej występującą nabytą chorobą serca u psów ras małych i miniaturowych. W poprzedniej części artykułu poruszona była kwestia patofizjologii zmian oraz zostało opisane stadium A choroby wg aktualnej klasyfikacji ACVIM, które obejmuje psy ras szczególnie predysponowanych oraz psy o zwiększonym ryzyku rozwoju choroby serca. W tej części cyklu opiszemy diagnostykę i postępowanie terapeutyczne w kolejnym stadium choroby, czyli w stadium B.

Abstract
Myxomatous mitral valve disease is the most common acquired heart disease in small and miniature breed dogs. In the first part of the paper the pathophysiology of changes as well as stage A of the disease were described according to current ACVIM classification, which includes predisposed canine breeds and dogs at an increased risk of developing heart disease. The second part of the paper discusses diagnostics and therapeutic management in the next stage of the disease (stage B).
