Ostanie lata pandemii COVID-19 pokazały, jak bardzo jest ona istotna, w bardzo wielu aspektach epidemiologicznych. Rolą lekarzy weterynarii jest między innymi dbanie o szeroko pojęte zdrowie zwierząt poprzez leczenie chorób, ale także, a może przede wszystkim, poprzez zapobieganie im.

Abstract

The prevention is an integral part of medicine. Every student of veterinary medicine spends a lot of time to acquire the necessary knowledge about it. Recent years of Covid-19 pandemic have shown how important it is, in many epidemiological aspects. The role of veterinarians is, among other things, to take care of the broadly understood health of animals by treating diseases, but also, and perhaps above all, by preventing them.
