Choroby z autoagresji u psów stanowią spore wyzwanie diagnostyczne ze względu na często wieloczynnikową etiologię, a także wprowadzanie nowych metod, niestosowanych dotychczas rutynowo w medycynie weterynaryjnej. Wiedza na temat możliwości stosowania testów diagnostyki immunologicznej i ich ograniczeń znacznie ułatwia postawienie trafnego rozpoznania przed podjęciem leczenia, które nierzadko opiera się na długotrwałej, ogólnej terapii immunosupresyjnej.

Abstract
The diagnosis of autoimmune diseases in dogs is often challenging because of the polyetiological origin of these disorders and the introduction of new, non-routine methods in the veterinary practice. The knowledge of the advantages and limitations of immunological tests facilitates putting a right diagnosis and finding a proper treatment method, frequently involving a long-term immunosuppressive therapy.
