Streszczenie
Choroby ortopedyczne kończyny piersiowej psów, a w szczególności dysplazja stawu łokciowego (ang. CED – canine elbow dysplasia; ED – elbow dysplasia), są częstą przyczyną konsultacji w gabinetach lekarsko-weterynaryjnych. Słowo „dysplazja” pochodzi od greckiego słowa „dysplasia” (dys – nieprawidłowy, plasia – rozwój) i dotyczy nieprawidłowości w komórkach tkanek, które mają wpływ na ich wzrost, rozwój i funkcjonowanie. Celem pracy jest omówienie rozpoznawania dysplazji stawów łokciowych na podstawie badania rentgenowskiego.

Abstract
Orthopedic diseases of the forelimb of dogs, and in particular elbow dysplasia (CED – canine elbow dysplasia; ED – elbow dysplasia) are a frequent reason for consultation in the veterinary surgeries dealing with the treatment of animals accompanying humans. The term dysplasia is derived from the Greek words dys meaning abnormal, plasia meaning development and refers to abnormalities in the cells of tissues that affect their growth, development and functioning. The aim of the study is to discuss the diagnosis of elbow dysplasia based on X-ray examination.
