Streszczenie
Często spotykaną zmianą w układzie czerwonokrwinkowym, pojawiającą się w różnych chorobach wątroby, zarówno psów, jak i kotów, jest poikilocytoza. Pojawiają się wtedy niedokrwistości – jako towarzyszące chorobie przewlekłej. Przy krwawieniach z nowotworu do jamy brzusznej lub w przypadku DIC będą to niedokrwistości pokrwotoczne. Występują także nieprawidłowa liczba płytek krwi oraz koagulopatie. W układzie białokrwinkowym pojawić się może leukogram zapalny lub odpowiedź białaczkowa.

Abstract
Poikilocytosis is a commonly seen hematologic change in the course of liver diseases in dogs and cats. Anemia also develops as a symptom accompanying chronic diseases. In the case of neoplasm, bleeding to the abdominal cavity or during DIC hemorrhagic anemia is seen. Also observed are abnormal platelet numbers and coagulopathies. In the leucogram, an inflammatory response or leukemoid reaction occur.
