Streszczenie
Dysplazja zastawki trójdzielnej (tricuspid valve dysplasia – TVD) to wada wrodzona serca dotycząca aparatu zastawki przedsionkowo-komorowej pomiędzy prawym przedsionkiem a prawą komorą serca. Zniekształcenie może dotyczyć: płatków zastawki, strun ścięgnistych bądź mięśni brodawkowatych, niepełnego rozdzielenia płatków zastawki lub ich ogniskowego niedorozwoju. Zaburzenia w budowie zastawki mogą skutkować jej niewydolnością lub rzadziej – zwężeniem (1). Wada ta jest stosunkowo rzadko spotykana u psów i kotów. Objawy kliniczne choroby są zależne od zaawansowania procesu oraz lokalizacji anatomicznej zmian. Metodą diagnostyczną z wyboru jest badanie echokardiograficzne.

Abstract
Tricuspid valve dysplasia (TVD) includes congenital malformations of the tricuspid valve leaflets, chordae tendineae or papillary muscles, incomplete separation of valve leaflets and focal agenesis of valvular tissue. Those changes result in failure or less often in tricuspid valve stenosis. Clinical symptoms depend on the advancement of changes or anatomical localization. TVD is uncommonly seen in dogs and cats. The diagnostic method of choice is echocardiography.
