Streszczenie
Nietrzymanie moczu u małych zwierząt jest częstą przyczyną wizyty w gabinetach weterynaryjnych. Objaw ten wywołany jest zazwyczaj zapaleniem układu moczowego, rzadziej może być pochodzenia jatrogennego (nietrzymanie moczu pokastracyjne). W pojedynczych przypadkach wiąże się z wadą genetyczną, powodującą nieprawidłowe umiejscowienie ujść moczowodów. Ektopia moczowodów jest częstą przyczyną nietrzymania moczu u młodych zwierząt. Do lecznicy zostały odesłane dwie suki z problemem nietrzymania moczu nie poddającego się leczeniu farmakologicznemu.

Abstract
Urinary incontinence (UI) in pets is a common cause for seeking veterinary consultation. Usually the problem is secondary to the inflammation of the urinary system. Less often UI is caused by iatrogenic factors and in rare cases the problem is a result of a genetic disease. In our study, two female dogs with urinary incontinence resistant to pharmacological treatment have been referred to the clinic for a second opinion consultation.
