Co roku w ostatnią niedzielę kwietnia obchodzimy Międzynarodowy Dzień Psa Ratowniczego. Nieprzerwanie od 2008 roku ten dzień jest świętowany przez ratowników z psami poszukiwawczo-ratowniczymi.
Warto również pamiętać, że psy ratownicze nie są tylko pomocnikami przy ratowaniu życia – są one również przyjaciółmi i towarzyszami, które często budują niezwykłą więź ze swoimi opiekunami. Ich oddanie i lojalność są nieocenione, a Dzień Psa Ratowniczego to doskonały moment, aby uczcić tę więź.
W dniu poświęconym psom ratowniczym warto więc podziękować im za ich niezastąpioną służbę, docenić pracę ludzi zaangażowanych w ich szkolenie i opiekę.
