Streszczenie
Ultrasonografia
należy do metod obrazowych wykonywanych w pierwszej kolejności w
przypadku podejrzenia patologii jąder u psów i kotów. To prosta,
nieinwazyjna metoda, która pozwala szybko i bez specjalnego
przygotowania pacjenta uwidocznić i ocenić zawartość worka mosznowego.
Umożliwia ona zobrazowanie nawet niewielkich zmian patologicznych jąder,
często niewyczuwalnych w badaniu klinicznym, postawienie wstępnej
diagnozy oraz przeprowadzenie biopsji wykrytych zmian. W niniejszym
artykule przedstawiono opis szczegółowego badania ultrasonograficznego
jąder u psów.

Abstract
Ultrasonography
is the most common method in the diagnostic process of testicles
pathologies in dogs and cats. The easy and non-invasive procedure allows
(without any special preparation of the patient) for quick imaging and
assessment of the scrotum content. Even small, non-palpable,
pathological changes may be visible during the ultrasound examination so
that a preliminary diagnosis may be established and the reavealed
changes can be biopsied. The paper describes a thorough ultrasonographic
examination of the testicles in dogs.
