Streszczenie
Komfort termiczny jest jednym z ważniejszych czynników wpływających na przyrosty tuczników oraz zdrowie i prawidłowe parametry rozrodu. Stres cieplny może być również przyczyną ujawnienia się chorób podklinicznie występujących w stadzie. Kontrolę stresu cieplnego u zwierząt można prowadzić poprzez szereg działań od poprawnego projektowania budynków, sprawnego systemu wentylacji, przez schładzanie, odpowiedni system żywienia oraz suplementację paszy. Takie działania mogą skutecznie ograniczyć stres cieplny i spowodowane nim znaczące straty ekonomiczne.

Abstract
Thermal comfort is one of the most important factors affecting the growth of fattening pigs, their health and proper reproduction parameters. Heat stress can also be the reason for the emergence of subclinical diseases occurring in the herd. The control of heat stress in animals can be carried out through a number of activities, from a correct design of buildings, efficient ventilation system, through cooling, adequate feeding system and feed supplementation. It can effectively reduce heat stress and the economic losses caused by it.
