Streszczenie
Młodzieńcze zapalenie tkanki łącznej, nazywane także ropowicą młodzieńczą, jest rzadką chorobą skóry młodych psów, zwykle dotyczącą szczeniąt pomiędzy 1. a 6. miesiącem życia. Ta jałowa ropno-ziarniniakowa choroba może występować z podobnymi objawami u psów dorosłych. Zwykle do poprawy klinicznej dochodzi po zastosowaniu glikokortykosteroidów w dawkach immunosupresyjnych, kiedy to uzyskuje się całkowite wyleczenie w ciągu 3 tygodni, zaś u zwierząt z głębokim zapaleniem tkanki podskórnej leczenie trwa o wiele dłużej.

Abstract
Juvenile cellulitis, also known by the name ‚puppy strangles, is an uncommon skin condition of young dogs, commonly affects young puppies, between one and six months of age. This sterile pyogranulomatous disease with very similar features can also occur in adult dogs. This condition is reported to respond to immunosuppressive corticosteroid therapy, which consistently resolves the disease within a period of less than 3 weeks, however, but in dogs with concurrent panniculitis affecting the body it usually takes longer to resolve.
