Streszczenie
Do szpitala weterynaryjnego w Zurychu został przyprowadzony 12-letni, niekastrowany wyżeł węgierski, ważący 25 kg, z ujawnionymi w wywiadzie objawami postępującej kulawizny, hiperplastycznych zmian na opuszkach łap oraz poliurii i polidypsji, utrzymującymi się od 2 miesięcy. Zmiany były uprzednio bezskutecznie leczone z użyciem olejku drzewa herbacianego, podawano też suplement multiwitaminowy. Pacjent otrzymywał również pimobendan, ze względu na stwierdzony szmer sercowy.
Abstract
A 12-year old, intact male, Magyar Vizsla dog (25 kg) presented to an animal hospital in Zurich, had a history of progressive lameness, hyperplastic footpads and polyuria/polydipsia (PU/PD) for 2 months. The lesions had unsuccessfully been pre-treated with tea-tree oil and a multivitamin supplement. Due to a pre-existing heart murmur, the dog also received pimobendan.
