Nietrzymanie moczu jest jednym z dość często występujących powikłań pokastracyjnych u suk. Wiąże się to z przesunięciem pęcherza moczowego do jamy miednicznej. Skrócona cewka moczowa zwiększa swoją średnicę, zmniejszając jednocześnie napięcie ściany. Jedną ze skuteczniejszych metod leczenia jest podwieszenie pochwy.

Abstract
Urinary incontinence is one of the most frequent post-operative complications in neutered bitches. The problem is caused by the translocation of the bladder to the pelvic cavity. Shortening of urethra results in the enlargement of its diameter and a weak tension of the urethra wall. Colposuspension is one of the most effective treatment in such cases.
