Streszczenie
Istnieje wiele przyczyn i możliwych lokalizacji powstawania przetok skórnych u psów. Czynnikiem etiologicznym może być obecność ciała obcego. W przypadkach powstawania przetok często dochodzi do rozwoju przewlekłego zapalenia tkanek miękkich, tkanki kostnej łącznie z tworzeniem ropni. Wspólna diagnostyka ultrasonograficzna i radiologiczna łącznie z fistulografią umożliwiają dokładną ocenę rozległości i głębokości kanałów przetok. Metody te w prezentowanym przypadku umożliwiły zobrazowanie kanału przetoki skórnej oraz lokalizację ciała obcego w tkankach miękkich tylnej części okolicy mostkowej.

Abstract
There are many causes of potential fistula locations in dogs, The presence of a foreign body may be the etiologic factor in forming the cutaneous fistula. The disease is often characterised by the soft and hard tissue chronic inflammation accompanied by the formation of abscesses. The ultrasonographic and radiographic diagnosis, including fistulography, makes it possible to accurately assess the extent, depth and course of the fistulous tract. In the presented case, these diagnostic methods enabled us to localise the course of the primary tract of the cutaneous fistula and recognize foreign bodies in the soft tissue of the sternal region.
