Choroby przewodu pokarmowego ptaków stanowią częsty powód konsultacji lekarsko-weterynaryjnych. Anatomia ptaków znacznie utrudnia fizykalną ocenę narządów wewnętrznych, w tym struktur przewodu pokarmowego. Obok testów laboratoryjnych, nieodzowny element jego oceny stanowi kontrastowe badanie radiograficzne. W niniejszym artykule opisano technikę jego wykonania wraz z praktycznymi wskazówkami.

Abstract
Gastrointestinal diseases in avian patients are common reason for seeking veterinarian advice. Bird anatomy makes it difficult to evaluate gastrointestinal tract structures during physical examination. Alongside laboratory tests, contrast radiographic examination is an essential part of a diagnostic evaluation of the avian gastrointestinal tract. The aim of this article is to demonstrate the technique of that examination.
