Streszczenie
Kardiomiopatia przerostowa jest najczęstszą chorobą serca u kotów, polegającą na przeroście koncentrycznym mięśnia lewej komory. Może występować u około 15% populacji kotów domowych, początkowo jako choroba o przebiegu subklinicznym. Ciężka postać kardiomiopatii przerostowej, prowadząca do niewydolności serca lub choroby zakrzepowo-zatorowej, występuje tylko u niewielkiego odsetka tych kotów. Niniejszy artykuł skupia się na leczeniu kardiomiopatii przerostowej w różnych jej stadiach.

Abstract
Hypertrophic cardiomyopathy is the most common cardiac disease in cats, characterized by hypertrophy of the left ventricular muscle. It can occur in approximately 15% of the domestic cat population, primarily as a subclinical disease. The severe form of hypertrophic cardiomyopathy, leading to heart failure or thromboembolic disease, occurs in only a small percentage of these cats. This article focuses on the treatment of hypertrophic cardiomyopathy at its different stages.
