Streszczenie
Nagłe zatrzymanie krążenia u człowieka nie jest częstym stanem, z którym może się spotkać w swojej praktyce lekarz weterynarii. Wcześnie podjęta resuscytacja krążeniowo-oddechowa zwiększa szanse przeżycia pacjenta z NZK. Bardzo ważne jest, aby personel potrafił rozpoznać nagłe zatrzymanie krążenia, zachować zasady bezpieczeństwa, powiadomić służby ratunkowe oraz rozpocząć resuscytację krążeniowo-oddechową. W pracy przedstawiono metodykę prowadzenia resuscytacji krążeniowo-oddechowej u ludzi.

Abstract
Sudden cardiac arrest (SCA) in man is not a common situation that veterinarians may encounter in their practice. Early cardiopulmonary resuscitation increases the chance of survival in patients with SCA. It is essential for the personnel to recognize sudden cardiac arrest, maintain safety rules, notify emergency services, and perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation. The paper presents the methodology of cardiopulmonary resuscitation in humans.
