Streszczenie
Wypadnięcie gałki ocznej jest nagłym stanem okulistycznym, wymagającym jak najszybszej interwencji lekarskiej. Przy wyborze postępowania należy wziąć pod uwagę stan struktur oka odpowiadających za widzenie. W przypadku dobrego rokowania wykonuje się repozycję gałki ocznej, a w przypadku złego – jej usunięcie. W artykule przedstawiono czynniki pomocne w ustaleniu rokowania oraz prawidłowe postępowanie w przypadku wypadnięcia gałki ocznej u psów i kotów.

Abstract
Prolapse of the eye globe is an ocular emergency which requires immediate treatment. The choice of the treatment method depends on the health condition of the structures responsible for vision. In case of good prognosis reposition of the globe should be performed, in the case of poor prognosis nucleation of the globe is necessary. The article describes factors useful in determining prognosis in the cases of globe prolapse in dogs and cats and the treatment plans.
