Artykuł opisuje przeciwnowotworowe zastosowanie kapsaicyny u psów. Substancja, zawarta w papryce habanero, wchodzi w skład komercyjnego preparatu w formie kapsułki doustnej. Skuteczność kliniczna zastosowanego suplementu jest zadowalająca i stanowi nadzieję głównie w opiece paliatywnej, przy czym terapia nie niesie potencjalnego ryzyka. Potwierdzają to obserwacje in vitro oraz na zwierzętach laboratoryjnych.

Abstract
The article describes the use of capsaicin in treating neoplastic diseases in dogs. The substance can be found in habanero pepper and is commercially prepared in the form of an oral capsule. Clinical efficacy of the supplement is satisfactory and the medication can be used in patients treated palliatively,. The therapy carries no potential risk as has been confirmed by both in vitro and laboratory animal strudies.
