Rehabilitacja psów i kotów z chorobami rdzenia kręgowego odgrywa coraz większą rolę jako element kompleksowego postępowania u pacjentów leczonych zachowawczo i operacyjnie. Odpowiednio dobrany i przeprowadzony program fizjoterapii oraz wykwalifikowany zespół terapeutyczny stanowią podstawę do osiągnięcia optymalnych rezultatów usprawniania. Rehabilitacja umożliwia pacjentom z chorobami rdzenia kręgowego szybszy i pełniejszy powrót do sprawności fizycznej.

Abstract
Rehabilitation of cats and dogs with spinal cord diseases has become an essential part of complex therapeutic procedures in patients treated either conservatively or surgically. A properly chosen physiotherapeutic programme and a well-qualified therapeutic team are necessary if the best rehabilitation results are to be obtained. Rehabilitation enables faster and more comprehensive physical improvement in patients with spinal cord diseases.
