Streszczenie
Rezonans magnetyczny jest nowoczesną metodą diagnostyki obrazowej, coraz bardziej dostępną również dla lekarzy weterynarii. Jest to cenna technika, pozwalająca na coraz dokładniejsze obrazowanie organów wewnętrznych, w tym wątroby. W hepatologii weterynaryjnej badanie MRI szczególnie przydatne jest w ocenie zmian nowotworowych miąższu wątroby. Coraz nowsze kontrasty stosowane w badaniu MRI pozwalają zwiększyć czułość i specyficzność tego badania. Wydaje się, że pomimo ograniczeń tej metody MRI to przyszłość diagnostyki guzów wątroby u psów.

Abstract
Magnetic resonance (MRI) is a modern method of diagnostic imaging and is more available nowadays in veterinary clinics. MRI is a valuable technique which allows for detailed imaging of inner organs, including liver. The method is especially useful for diagnosing hepatic neoplasms. The newest contrast agents allow for higher sensitivity and specificity of MRI. Despite few limitations of the method magnetic resonance might be a promising diagnostic method of canine hepatic neoplasms.
