Streszczenie
U psów brachycefalicznych ze względu na budowę trzewioczaszki występuje tzw. zespół brachycefaliczny – zaburzenia oddychania powstające w wyniku obecności przeszkód anatomicznych w górnych drogach, które wymagają niekiedy korekcji chirurgicznej. Na podstawie literatury i doświadczeń własnych opracowano schemat znieczulenia podczas korekcji podniebienia miękkiego i zwężonych skrzydełek nosowych.

Specific structure of viscerocranium in brachycephalic dogs results in the development of the brachycephalic syndrome. Anatomical obstacles in the upper airways, which evoke respiratory problems, sometimes require surgical correction. The anaesthetic procedure scheme for soft palate hyperplasia and narrow nostrils was designed based on literature and the author’s own experience
