Streszczenie
Przebieg procesu leczenia kanałowego polega na oczyszczeniu i zdezynfekowaniu wnętrza kanału korzeniowego, a następnie wypełnieniu go materiałem. Czynności te mają znaczący wpływ na sukces w podjętym przez lekarza weterynarii leczeniu endodontycznym. U zwierząt poniżej 18. miesiąca życia, w przypadku świeżego złamania, leczeniem z wyboru jest przyżyciowa amputacja miazgi zębowej połączona z bezpośrednim pokryciem miazgi opatrunkiem. Z kolei u zwierząt starszych, lub w przebiegu starych złamań, wskazane jest przeprowadzenie standardowego leczenia kanału korzeniowego lub chirurgicznego leczenia endodontycznego.

Abstract
The process of root canal treatment involves cleaning and disinfecting the inside of the root canal and then filling it with the material. These activities have a significant impact on the success in endodontic treatment. In animals under 18 months of age with recent fractures, the treatment of choice is an intravital dental pulp amputation coupled with a direct pulp capping dressing. In older animals or in cases of an old fracture, a standard root canal treatment or endodontic surgery should be performed.
