Streszczenie
Celem artykułu jest zwrócenie uwagi na nefropatie, które mogą być efektem ubocznym działania antybiotyków antracyklinowych. Doksorubicyna jest używana w chemioterapii nowotworów takich jak: chłoniak, chłoniakomięsak, gruczolakorak, naczyniakomięsak. W opisanym przypadku klinicznym kota po zastosowaniu DOX doszło do ostrego uszkodzenia nerek, a następnie utrwalenia zmian i rozwoju przewlekłej choroby nerek jako jego następstwa.

Abstract
The aim of this article is to draw attention to the nephropathy which can be a side effect of the treatment with anthracycline antibiotics. Doxorubicin is used in the chemotherapy of neoplasms such as lymphoma, carcinoma, adenocarcinoma, angiosarcoma. The paper describes the case of a cat with an acute kidney injury as a result of the doxorubicin (DOX) treatment. As a consequence the cat developed a chronic kidney disease.
