Negatywny wpływ urządzeń udojowych na zdrowotność wymion jest znany, jednak mocno niedoszacowany. Niepoprawnie funkcjonujące dojarki wpływają nie tylko na wzrost liczby komórek somatycznych, ale również pogarszają efektywność wdrażanego leczenia zapalenia gruczołu mlekowego, przez co lekarz weterynarii powinien potrafić zweryfikować poprawność funkcjonowania opisywanego urządzenia. Dziś dzięki obecności urządzeń rejestrujących poziomy podciśnienia ta czynność jest znacznie prostsza.

Abstract
The negative impact of milking equipment on the udder health is known but greatly underestimated. An improper functioning of milking machines not only increases the somatic cells count in bulk tank milk, but also decreases the effectiveness of the treatment of mastitis, which means that the veterinarian should be able to verify the correctness of the functioning of the device. Nowadays, as devices recording vacuum levels are available on the market, the checking of the milking equipment is much simpler.
