Nie bez powodu mówi się, że pies jest najlepszym przyjacielem człowieka. Kiedy myślimy o relacji człowieka ze zwierzęciem, pierwszym skojarzeniem bywa zazwyczaj nasza więź z psem. Dlaczego jednak decydują się one na współpracę z ludźmi? Czy chodzi tylko o wymianę korzyści, czy to rezultat ewolucji i skutek udomowienia? Czy w naszym codziennym życiu z psami bierzemy pod uwagę, że psy chcą z nami współpracować? Warto zastanowić się, czy jako ludzie traktujemy relację z psami jako partnerstwo, tak jak w prawdziwej przyjaźni.

It is said that dogs are truly man’s best friends. When we think about the relationship between a dog and a human being, the first thought is usually our bond with the dog. Why do they decide to cooperate wit us? Is the only reason the exchange of benefits or is it the result of evolution and a consequence of domestication? Are we interested in the dog’s willingness to co-operate with us? It is worth to consider how we treat our relationship with dogs as partnership, as we do in human friendship
