Opis przypadku
Opisywany przypadek dotyczy 5-letniej suki mieszańca o masie ciała 15 kg. Zwierzę trafiło do leczenia z powodu plegii tylnych kończyn. Wykonane badania morfologiczne i biochemiczne krwi nie wykazały odstępstw od norm referencyjnych. Przeprowadzono badanie neurologiczne, których wyniki zaprezentowano w tab. 2.
W trakcie badania rentgenowskiego stwierdzono Spondylosis deformans odcinka piersiowego (białe strzałki na radiogramie) oraz lędźwiowo-krzyżowego (czarna strzałka na radiogramie), co w efekcie wywołało u psa zespół zmian morfologicznych i klinicznych (zespół końskiego ogona, cauda equina syndrome) wraz z zespołem bólowym (radiculitis acuta) oraz następową plegią tylnich kończyn (ryc. 2 i 3).
