Choroby przenoszone przez wektory stanowią istotne zagrożenie dla zwierząt domowych, a w wielu przypadkach, ze względu na ich potencjał zoonotyczny, także dla ich właścicieli. Chociaż świadomość dotycząca tych jednostek w ciągu ostatnich lat stale rośnie, to jednak informacje o ich występowaniu oraz metodach rozpoznawania są często ograniczone. W artykule dokonano porównania przydatności klinicznej szybkich testów diagnostycznych do wykrywania przeciwciał dla Borrelia burgdorferi i Anaplasma phagocytophilum u psów z podejrzeniem choroby.

Abstract
Companion vector-borne diseases (CVBDs) are an important threat to pet life, but may also have an impact on human health, due to their often zoonotic character. The importance and awareness of CVBDs have continuously increased during the last years. However, information on their occurrence and diagnosis is often limited. The article presents a comparison of the clinical usefulness of rapid diagnostic tests for detecting antibodies for Borrelia burgdorferi and Anaplasma phagocytophilum in dogs with a suspected disease.
