Praca opisuje zaburzenia endokrynologiczne występujące w ciąży u suk. Autorzy przedstawili profil hormonalny suki w ciąży, którego znajomość jest bardzo istotna dla lekarza weterynarii pełniącego opiekę nad ciężarną samicą. Artykuł opisuje metody diagnostyki, algorytmy monitorowania oraz schematy leczenia niedoczynności tkanki lutealnej oraz niedoczynności tarczycy. Autorzy opisali także niebezpieczeństwa związane z ciążą suki chorującej na cukrzycę.

Abstract
The paper presents endocrinological disorders in pregnant bitches, simultaneously describing the pregnant bitch hormonal profile whose knowledge is essential for the veterinary care of a pregnant female. Also presented are the diagnostics methods, algorithms of monitoring and the therapy schemes of corpus luteum insufficiency and hypothyroidism. The authors describe the risks of pregnancy in bitches with diabetes mellitus.
