Wiarygodność otrzymanych wyników laboratoryjnych może decydować o poprawności postawionej diagnozy oraz wdrożenia odpowiedniego leczenia. Przeprowadzono badania mające na celu unaocznienie wpływu takich czynników, jak czas do przeprowadzenia analizy oraz stopień hemolizy surowicy krwi, na stężenia wybranych parametrów biochemicznych krwi. Doświadczenie wykazało, że czynniki te w sposób istotny oraz mogący wpływać na decyzje diagnostyczne zafałszowują otrzymane wyniki.

Abstract
The accuracy of the blood testing results can influence both diagnosis and treatment. A study was performed to evaluate the influance of the time from blood collection to blood analysis and the degree of blood serum hemolysis on the levels of chosen blood parameters. The results show that investigated factors can considerably influence the results of blood analysis, which in consequence may lead to a misdiagnosis.
