Streszczenie
Zapadanie się tchawicy jest zaburzeniem występującym głównie u psów ras małych i miniaturowych. Najczęstszym objawem klinicznym stwierdzanym w tej jednostce chorobowej jest kaszel, występujący najczęściej w stanach emocjonalnych oraz po wysiłku. Podczas badania klinicznego rozpoznanie zapadanie się tchawicy jest bardzo trudne, dlatego często konieczne jest wykonanie badań dodatkowych, takich jak: radiologiczne oraz endoskopowe. Leczenie polega na stosowaniu środków farmakologicznych, a w przypadku braku poprawy wymaga interwencji chirurgicznej.

The diagnosis of the trachea collapse in the clinical conditions is difficult, so additional radiologic or endoscopic examinations are often necessary. In the case of no improvement the treatment consists in medication administering or surgery.
