Streszczenie
Artykuł przedstawia przebieg badania ultrasonograficznego pęcherza moczowego u psów i kotów. Poniżej opisano przygotowanie pacjenta, technikę badania oraz prawidłowy obraz ultrasonograficzny pęcherza moczowego u psów i kotów. W pracy omówiono również obraz ultrasonograficzny wybranych schorzeń pęcherza moczowego, takich jak m.in.: obecność patologicznych struktur w świetle pęcherza, zmiany na tle zapalnym, kamica pęcherza moczowego, nowotwory, ektopie moczowodów oraz pęknięcie pęcherza moczowego.

Abstract
The paper describes the procedure of an ultrasound examination of the urinary bladder in dogs and cats. A patient’s preparation, examination technique and the normal ultrasound image of the urinary bladder in dogs and cats are also described. This article also contains an account of selected urinary bladder disorders, such as pathological structures in the bladder, inflammatory changes, urolitiasis, tumors, ectopic ureters and the rupture of the bladder.
