Zastosowanie Zentonil Advanced w leczeniu niewydolności wątroby u psów

Streszczenie

W Polsce dostępne są leki z grupy określanej jako hepatotropowe lub hepatoprotekcyjne, zawierające substancje, które mają na celu usprawnienie metabolizmu wątroby w przypadku zaburzeń jej funkcji. Przez bardzo długi czas w praktyce weterynaryjnej stosowano leki używane w medycynie ludzkiej. Wynikało to z braku dostępności na rynku preparatów weterynaryjnych stosowanych wyłącznie u zwierząt. Jednym z dostępnych na polskim rynku weterynaryjnym preparatów hepatoprotekcyjnych jest Zentonil Advanced. W Ambulatorium Katedry Chorób Wewnętrznych z Kliniką Koni, Psów i Kotów WMW UP we Wrocławiu przeprowadzono badania mające na celu ocenę skuteczności preparatu Zentonil Advanced w terapii chorób wątroby psów i kotów.

Abstract

The products known as hepatotropic or hepatoprotective agents that are available in Poland contain substances that improve liver metabolism  in liver function disorders. For a very long time the medications used in veterinary practice to support liver function were the products normally used in human medicine as veterinary medicinal products used only in animals were not available commercially. One of the hepatoprotective agents indicated for animals available in the Polish market is Zentonil Advanced. Clinical trials were conducted at the Department of Internal Medicine and Outpatient Clinic of Horses, Dogs and Cats of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine of Wrocław University of Environmental and Life Sciences assessing the efficacy of  Zentonil Advanced in the treatment of liver diseases in dogs and cats.
