Streszczenie
Zespół chorej zatoki lub choroba węzła zatokowego to jednostka chorobowa związana z zaburzeniami pracy węzła zatokowego. W badaniu EKG zespół chorego węzła ujawnić się może pod postacią bradykardii, zahamowania zatokowego, bloku przedsionkowo-komorowego pierwszego i drugiego stopnia, ale może być również związany z pojawianiem się okresów bradykardii naprzemiennie z napadami tachykardii nadkomorowych. Artykuł przedstawia opis przypadku suki sznaucera miniaturowego w wieku 11 lat, u której zdiagnozowano zespół chorego węzła.

Abstrakt
Sick sinus syndrome (SSS) refers to a condition of the sinoatrial node, where it is unable to perform its pacing function resulting in abnormal cardiac impulse formation. In the electrocardiographic examination it can manifest itself as episodes of bradycardia, sinus pauses, first- and second-degree atrioventricular block, as well as episodes of heart rate alternating between tachy- and bradycardia. The present article describes a case of a 11-year-old female Miniature Schnauzer, in which a diagnosis of a sick sinus syndrome was established.
