Streszczenie
W pracy opisano przypadek zespołu pozostawionego jajnika u suki, która po usunięciu jajników wykazywała objawy rui. Powodem tych zaburzeń hormonalnych była obecność pierwotnego guza jajnika – ziarniszczaka, którego komórki mają zdolność sekrecji hormonów jajnikowych. W opisywanym przypadku objawy kliniczne wskazywały na wydzielanie estrogenów przez komórki ziarniszczaka.

Abstract
The paper describes the case of the ovarian remnant syndrome (ORS) in the bitch with the oestrus symptoms after ovary resection caused by the presence of the hormonally active primary ovarian neoplasm, i.e. the granulosa cell tumor. The symptoms were caused by the estrogens excreted by the neoplasm.
