Pęknięcie pęcherzyka żółciowego i związane z nim żółciowe zapalenie otrzewnej jest stanem chorobowym rzadko spotykanym w medycynie weterynaryjnej. Wymaga szybkiego postawienia ostatecznego rozpoznania, co umożliwi podjęcie leczenia chirurgicznego. W artykule opisano przypadek 5,5-letniego psa rasy bulterier, u którego rozpoznano żółciowe zapalenie otrzewnej powstałe w wyniku pęknięcia pęcherzyka żółciowego.

Abstract
A gallbladder rupture and the associated biliary peritonitis is a medical condition rarely seen in veterinary medicine. It requires prompt final diagnosis, which will allow the veterinarian to undertake surgical treatment. The article describes the case of a 5.5-year-old bullterrier dog diagnosed with bile peritonitis resulting from the rupture of the gallbladder.
