Streszczenie
Zwapnienie ścięgna mięśnia nadgrzebieniowego (calcific tendonitis m. supraspinatus) jest rzadko opisywaną jednostką chorobową stawu ramiennego, występującą głównie u psów ras dużych i olbrzymich. Schorzenie to może przebiegać bezobjawowo. Leczenie chirurgiczne zarezerwowane jest dla przypadków, w których kulawizna nie ustąpiła po ograniczeniu ruchu oraz podawaniu niesteroidowych leków przeciwzapalnych. W artykule zostały opisane diagnostyka oraz leczenie psa z zapaleniem ścięgna mięśnia nadgrzebieniowego.

Abstract
Mineralization of the supraspinatus muscle tendon (calcific tendonitis m. supraspinatus) is an uncommon shoulder condition, with large and giant breeds mostly affected and with some dogs being asymptomatic. Surgery should be performed if lameness severity does not diminish after a period of a dog’s inactivity and NSAIDS therapy. This paper describes the diagnosis and surgery treatment of a dog with the mineralization of the supraspinatus muscle tendon.
