Streszczenie
Lecytyna należy do biologicznie czynnych fosfolipidów, stosowanych w medycynie, kosmetologii czy piekarnictwie. W leczeniu i profilaktyce wykorzystuje się zazwyczaj jej działanie kardio-, hepato-, neuroprotekcyjne oraz regulujące trawienie i wchłanianie tłuszczów, jak również normalizujące stężenie lipidów we krwi. W artykule zaprezentowano między innymi wyniki doświadczenia polegającego na zastosowaniu wzbogaconej w kwas DHA lecytyny z żółtek jaj w celu obniżenia stężenia cholesterolu i/lub trójglicerydów u psów z hiperlipidemią.

Abstract
Lecithin is a biological active phospholipid used in medicine, cosmetics or baking. In medicine, lecithin is used for its cardio-, hepato-, neuroprotective activity, lipids digestion and absorption regulatory properties. It also acts as a blood lipid normalizing agent. The article presents the results of a research in which hyperlipidemic dogs were fed with a dose of the DHA-enriched egg yolk lecithin in order to normalize the cholesterol and/or trigliceride levels of blood.
