W ubiegły weekend na Uniwersytecie Przyrodniczym we Wrocławiu miały miejsce dwa uroczyste absolutoria, podczas których studenci oficjalnie zakończyli studia i odebrali pamiątkowe dyplomy. Odbyło się również uhonorowanie medalami osób zasłużonych dla Wydziału Medycyny Weterynaryjnej.
Podczas absolutoriów studenci odebrali swoje dyplomy oraz wyróżnienia. Gratulacje absolwentom złożył Dziekan dr hab. Stanisław Dzimira, prof. uczelni. W piątek 12 kwietnia odbyło się absolutorium w języku angielskim dla studentów English Division, natomiast w sobotę 13 kwietnia miało miejsce główne absolutorium weterynarii. Drugiego dnia zostały uhonorowane osoby blisko współpracujące z wydziałem – wręczono im medale „Zasłużony dla Wydziału Medycyny Weterynaryjnej”, a byli to:
- prof. Jan Twardoń
- prof. Maciej Ugorski
- dr hab. Ryszard Mordak,
- dr Andrzej Połozowski
- lek. wet. Paweł Golonka
- dr Wojciech Paszta
- dr Peter Stewart
- Jacek Tarczyński
Podczas sobotniego absolutorium wykład wygłosił prof. Aleksander Chrószcz, a dla studentów English Division – Anna Cegłowska-McCann. Za oprawę całego wydarzenia był odpowiedzialny Chór Uniwersytetu Przyrodniczego we Wrocławiu pod batutą prof. Alana Urbanka.
