Streszczenie
Jednym z narzędzi służących do diagnostyki zakażeń narządu oddechowego u świń jest poubojowa ocena zmian patologicznych w płucach, przeprowadzana w czasie badania poubojowego. Ocena ta jako nieinwazyjna i niedroga powinna się stać metodą z wyboru do oceny zdrowia świń i skuteczności programów immunoprofilaktycznych, a także przewidywania najsłabszych punktów w zarządzaniu fermą. Możliwość obniżenia kosztów analiz laboratoryjnych, szybka reakcja na nagłe zmiany oraz utrzymanie zadowalającego stanu zdrowia świń w gospodarstwie przyczyniają się do poprawy efektywności produkcji.

Abstract
One of the tools used to diagnose respiratory infections in pigs is the assessment of anatomopathological changes in the respiratory tract, carried out during a post-mortem inspection in the slaughterhouse. This approach, non-invasive and inexpensive, should become the method of choice for assessing the health of pigs and the effectiveness of immunoprophylaxy programs, as well as the tool allowing to predict the weakest points in farm management. The possibility of decreasing laboratory analysis costs, quick reaction to the sudden changes and maintaining a satisfactory health status of pigs on the farm contribute to improved production efficiency.
