Choroby układu oddechowego u cieląt występują powszechnie w Polsce. Współczynnik chorobotwórczości waha się wg różnych doniesień opisanych w literaturze od 33% do nawet 67%. Kluczowe znaczenie dla rozwoju choroby i nasilenia objawów mają warunki środowiskowe panujące w oborze – wilgotność i temperatura. Najczęściej obserwowane objawy to: kaszel, szmery oddechowe, wypływ z nozdrzy i duszność.

Abstract
Diseases of the respiratory system in calves are common in Poland. According to various literature reports, the pathogenicity rate ranges from 33% to even 67%. The environmental conditions in the barn, humidity and temperature, are of key importance for the disease development and symptom severity. The most common symptoms are coughing, respiratory sounds, discharge from the nostrils and short breath.
